	 &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; Hi hi! My name is Brittany. I am an art director and designer. &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; I design for brands, social good, and humans. Influenced by an insatiable curiosity and playful approach, I craft visual and tactile experiences with an astute attention to detail—world building with intention and exploring the human and sensory experience.&#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; I love to play in nature, alter existing garments to make something new, write poetry, and move / connect with my body through house and ambient music.

 To celebrate Labrinth’s Emmy nod for Euphoria’s “Outstanding Music Composition”, we created a space for him to revisit the series’ anthemic score. We endeavored to create an immersive performance inspired by the series iconic visuals and recurring convenience store setting.
We brought this experience to life with type driven and textural neon vignettes mixed with some of Season 1’s most memorable scenes. The Euphoria Mini Mart was born.


&#38;nbsp;“The Euphoria Mini Mart presents Labrinth” went live on YouTube Premieres. The immersive music experience was a rejuvenated approach, elevating the “live from home” performance model we came to know during quarantine 2020.&#38;nbsp;
Art Direction
We were inspired by an immersive world that we could create when the camera traveled through a neon tube’s molecular world. Our pared back ‘mini mart’ set heroed the set graphics on a massive LED wall that acted as Labrinth’s backdrop for the performance. We opted for a simple nod to convenience stores by incorporating a black and white tiled vinyl floor, which gave the space more visual interest, especially when it caught the reflection in Labrinth’s sunglasses. To further tie to the series’ aesthetic, we lit the set with ambient gel lighting creating an immersive surreal space for Labrinth’s inspired performance.&#38;nbsp;

Client &#38;nbsp;Behind the Scenes Apparel&#38;nbsp;Behind The Scenes Apparel (BTSA) is an apparel company based in Los Angeles. An immigrant owned and operated business that provides a one-stop shop for streamlined wholesale garment customization and locally sourced materials. BTSA tasked our team with creating a brand identity to capture their ethos and establish a benchmark for the business moving forward and a visual identity that can grow with the business as it evolves.&#38;nbsp;We took this brief and crafted a visual identity anchored in playful minimalism with a custom fat face font derived from simple forms inspired by the codes of apparel pattern making.&#38;nbsp;

To create a robust modular system that is as flexible as BTSA itself, the letterforms from the logotype were broken down and individual pieces of anatomy from each were leveraged to create an ownable icon system.&#38;nbsp;
The result is a unique and customizable, modular system.

2018 and create an
unforgettable experience
for the city of Los
Angeles. Our approach was an unprecendented two-day festival blurring the line between basketball and culture: 747 Warehouse St.

&#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; I joined the team to help with design across all touchpoints including wayfinding in the warehouse, VIP welcome kits, UX/UI design for the ticketing system and product raffle beacons, digital communications, print flyers, wayfinding, etc...&#38;nbsp;

With this goal at the helm, our visual language was an ever-changing, unapologetic identity system that symbolized making new with the old. We chopped and screwed codes of both factory and sport, creating a fresh, unexpected and playful aesthetic for the event that delicately balanced raucous play and informational detail.

&#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp;The brief from adidas was to establish a new global brand initiative for women in sport. For this initiative, we created a visual identity with a direct and honest
aesthetic influenced by bold
typographic treatments supported by a simplified
color palette and grid system.
Our photo direction captured
raw athleticism and the
confronting engagement of
adidas athletes.

Our messaging-first approach resulted in hyper local OOH campaign with hand painted walls around the country featuring the next generation of female athletes under a consistent call to action.
